The Office of Governor-select Pilar C. Dugard publishes annual New Year's statement.
Governor-select Pilar C. Dugard (D-Manhattan Beach) released the following video statement wishing everyone a prosperous new year and congratulating our communities on entering a new year together. In the statement, the Governor-select stated that the beginning of the new year is "another chance to live... forgive, and spread kindness, and to be exposed to new opportunities this year has to offer."

Governor-select Pilar C. Dugard was recommended by President Rebucas to serve a two year term as Governor of the Young Leaders PAC on November 28, 2020. She was confirmed by a convention of youth motivators the same day. The Governor-select will be sworn-in alongside Alexandra Short and Devin Huynh at the beginning of the 2021-2022 Election Cycle Term of Office on January 4, 2021.
