Governor Silberman Authors Board Statement on Injustice

Following the George Floyd Protests of 2020, the Board of Governors voted unanimously to author a statement condemning acts of racial injustice around the nation.

Without objection of any Governor, President Raphael F.L. Rebucas appointed Governor Sage Silberman to be the principal author of the Committee's stance on police brutality. The statement written by the Governor is as follows.

We, the members of the Young Leaders PAC Board of Governors would like to offer our condolences to the victims of police brutality and stand behind the actions that have been taken to solve the problem across the nation. The lack of civility in our country needs to change. We recognize this, and as a result, we are trying invoke a meaningful difference. Our community needs to come together in solidarity with those in support of justice for everyone, regardless of ethnic origin, sexual orientation, creed, or political values.

The Board of Governors stands by its mission to promote the sanctity of life everywhere, and to keep alive the God-given rights enshrined within the United States Constitution.
