Jacob D. Malo was sworn-in by the President to serve a five month term of office as Assistant President. Governor Alexandra Short, Governor Devin Huynh, and Governor Pilar Dugard were also issued the Oath of Office, and swore to support and defend the Constitution of the United States, the Constitution of the State of California, and the Charter of the Young Leaders Political Action Committee.
During the first meeting of the term, the Board of Governors confirmed President Rebucas's nominations of Tyler S. Bolsoni and Shelby N. Coleman to serve as the Secretaries of Legislative Affairs, Aura Imbarus as the Political Director, and Natalie M. Hedding as the Deputy Political Director. Each confirmation vote was unanimous.
The Board of Governors also amended certain sections of the Charter. Each of the amendments are expected to be ratified by the end of the month. You can read the new Charter of the Young Leaders Political Action Committee here.
